On Air Max Day, we created a pirate radio exclusively to drop fresh kicks and beats.
Back in the day, the Air Max were promoted through the lyrics of legends in pirate radio stations. Tune in to Nike’s new pirate radio to get the next drop, after all they always vibed in the same wavelength.
To make our show a hit, we enlisted the biggest underground music broadcaster, Boiler Room, to bring in up-and-coming local NYC artists to perform live.
To spread the word, we hit underground hotpots from gritty bodega walls to authentic street art joints like the OGs did back in the day.
